(of a well). A boundary town of north Palestine (Ezek. 47:16¹⁶Hamath, Berothah, Sibraim, which is between the border of Damascus and the border of Hamath; Hazar-hatticon, which is by the coast of Hauran. (Ezekiel 47:16)).

“Berothah” From Concise Bible Dictionary:

Place mentioned as a north border of the land when it will again be inhabited by the twelve tribes (Ezek. 47:16¹⁶Hamath, Berothah, Sibraim, which is between the border of Damascus and the border of Hamath; Hazar-hatticon, which is by the coast of Hauran. (Ezekiel 47:16)). Supposed by some to be Beyraut.

“Berothai” From Concise Bible Dictionary:

City Belonging to Hadadezer King of Zobah (2 Sam. 8:8⁸And from Betah, and from Berothai, cities of Hadadezer, king David took exceeding much brass. (2 Samuel 8:8)). Apparently the Same as CHUN in 1 Chronicles 18:8⁸Likewise from Tibhath, and from Chun, cities of Hadarezer, brought David very much brass, wherewith Solomon made the brazen sea, and the pillars, and the vessels of brass. (1 Chronicles 18:8).
