My defense is of God, which saveth the upright in heart. (Psa. 7:10)

The Lord is my defense; and my God is the rock of my refuge. (Psa. 94:22)

Lord, Thou hast drawn us after Thee;
Now let us run and never tire;
Thy presence shall our comfort be,
Thyself our hope, our sole desire.

In want, our plentiful supply;
In weakness, our almighty power;
In bonds, our perfect liberty;
Our refuge in temptation’s hour.
