| Drop down, ye heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness: let the earth open, and let them bring forth salvation, and let righteousness spring up together. (Isa. 45:8) |
| Let judgment run down as waters, and righteousness as a mighty stream. (Amos 5:24) |
| Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other. (Psa. 85:10) |
Oh! the peace forever flowing
From God’s thoughts of His own Son;
Oh, the peace of simply knowing
On the cross that all was done. |
Peace with God, the blood in heaven
Speaks of pardon now to me:
Peace with God! The Lord is risen!
Righteousness now counts me free. |
