The FEAR of the LORD is strong confidence. (Prov. 14:26)

The FEAR of the LORD is a fountain of life. (Prov. 14:27)

Behold, the FEAR of the LORD, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding. (Job 28:28)

The LORD knows the need of my soul — The trial that calls for His grace, The weakness that leans on His strength, The FEAR that looks up to His face.

When He seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, the Lord will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you. (Ex. 12:23)

Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in His blood, to declare His righteousness for the remission of sins. (Rom. 3:25)

Vain is the thought of man    To merit heaven by prayer; It’s only Jesus’ precious blood    Can give admission there.

None can, without the blood    Of Jesus, be forgiven; It’s resting on the blood alone    That fits the soul for heaven.
