El Príncipe de paz

“Porque un niño nos es nacido, hijo nos es dado, y el principado sobre su hombro; y se llamará su nombre Admirable, Consejero, Dios Fuerte, Padre Eterno, Príncipe de Paz” (Isaías 9:66For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. (Isaiah 9:6)).
Ahora en el mundo reina la injusticia. Hay conflictos de diferente índole por todo lado. Parece que los tratados de paz en muchos casos se firman tan solo para ser rotos en seguida. Tal vez no hay lugar donde esto sea más evidente como en el caso del Medio Oriente. ¿Cuándo va a cambiar esto? Cuando venga el Príncipe de Paz, el Señor Jesucristo, para reinar sobre este mundo por mil años durante el milenio: va a reinar la justicia en vez de la injusticia.
No se puede tener una paz externa, duradera y verdadera, sino que hay una paz interna; y no hay como tener una verdadera paz interna, si no se tiene al Príncipe de Paz como Señor y Salvador. “Mas el Consolador, el Espíritu Santo, a quien el Padre enviará en mi nombre, él os enseñará todas las cosas, y os recordará todo lo que yo os he dicho. La paz os dejo, mi paz os doy; yo no os la doy como el mundo la da. No se turbe vuestro corazón, ni tenga miedo” (Juan 14:26-2726But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. 27Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. (John 14:26‑27)). Cuando te arrepientas de tus pecados y creas en el Señor Jesucristo como tu Salvador, tendrás la salvación en Cristo y podrás estar en paz con Dios. Y con ello tendrás al Espíritu Santo morando dentro. Esto no quiere decir que muchas circunstancias vayan a cambiar completamente, pues persistirán bastantes dificultades en un mundo tan afectado por el pecado; pero uno puede tener paz en medio de las circunstancias, y esperar la venida del Señor Jesucristo, quien nos llevará en el arrebatamiento a la casa de Su Padre, e iremos al cielo donde ya no hay conflictos.
Cuando el Señor Jesucristo resucitó de entre los muertos fue visto exclusivamente por los creyentes. “Porque primeramente os he enseñado lo que asimismo recibí: Que Cristo murió por nuestros pecados, conforme a las Escrituras; y que fue sepultado, y que resucitó al tercer día, conforme a las Escrituras; y que apareció a Cefas, y después a los doce. Después apareció a más de quinientos hermanos a la vez, de los cuales muchos viven aún, y otros ya duermen. Después apareció a Jacobo; después a todos los apóstoles y al último de todos, como a un abortivo, me apareció a mí” (1 Corintios 15:3-83For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: 5And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: 6After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. 7After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. 8And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. (1 Corinthians 15:3‑8)).
Cuando Él ascendió al cielo solamente fue visto por los que tenían fe. A la vez les declaró que iban a verle con sus ojos físicos de nuevo: “Entonces los que se habían reunido le preguntaron, diciendo: Señor, ¿restaurarás el reino a Israel en este tiempo? Y les dijo: No os toca a vosotros saber los tiempos o las sazones, que el Padre puso en su sola potestad; pero recibiréis poder, cuando haya venido sobre vosotros el Espíritu Santo, y me seréis testigos en Jerusalén, en toda Judea, en Samaria, y hasta lo último de la tierra. Y habiendo dicho estas cosas, viéndolo ellos, fue alzado, y le recibió una nube que le ocultó de sus ojos. Y estando ellos con los ojos puestos en el cielo, entre tanto que él se iba, he aquí se pusieron junto a ellos dos varones con vestiduras blancas, los cuales también les dijeron: Varones galileos, ¿por qué estáis mirando al cielo? Este mismo Jesús, que ha sido tomado de vosotros al cielo, así vendrá como le habéis visto ir al cielo” (Hechos 1:6-116When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel? 7And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power. 8But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. 9And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. 10And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; 11Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven. (Acts 1:6‑11)).
Cuando el Señor Jesucristo vuelva al final de la tribulación para establecer Su reino visible en la tierra, será visto por todos, y establecerá un reino de paz como Príncipe de Paz: “E inmediatamente después de la tribulación de aquellos días, el sol se oscurecerá, y la luna no dará su resplandor, y las estrellas caerán del cielo, y las potencias de los cielos serán conmovidas. Entonces aparecerá la señal del Hijo del Hombre en el cielo; y entonces lamentarán todas las tribus de la tierra, y verán al Hijo del Hombre viniendo sobre las nubes del cielo, con poder y gran gloria” (Mateo 24:29-3029Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: 30And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. (Matthew 24:29‑30)). “He aquí que viene con las nubes, y todo ojo le verá, y los que le traspasaron; y todos los linajes de la tierra harán lamentación por él. Sí, amén. Yo soy el Alfa y la Omega, principio y fin, dice el Señor, el que es y que era y que ha de venir, el Todopoderoso” (Apocalipsis 1:77Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen. (Revelation 1:7)).
“Por nada estéis afanosos, sino sean conocidas vuestras peticiones delante de Dios en toda oración y ruego, con acción de gracias. Y la paz de Dios, que sobrepasa todo entendimiento, guardará vuestros corazones y vuestros pensamientos en Cristo Jesús” (Filipenses 4:6-76Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 7And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6‑7)).
Cuando estamos en paz con Dios, la paz de Dios puede darnos tranquilidad en todas las circunstancias de la vida hasta la venida de Señor.
