JOH 15:5⁵I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. (John 15:5)

This verse really continues the thoughts of yesterday. There will be fruit, in fact much fruit, in a Christian’s life if he labors in accordance with the Lord’s guidance through the Scriptures. The abiding mentioned in our verse today is talking about communion or fellowship with the Lord so that we know what He wants. A Christ-filled life can do nothing except bring forth fruit.
