1. Son of Midian, and grandson of Abraham and Keturah (Gen. 25:4⁴And the sons of Midian; Ephah, and Epher, and Hanoch, and Abida, and Eldaah. All these were the children of Keturah. (Genesis 25:4); 1 Chron. 1:33³³And the sons of Midian; Ephah, and Epher, and Henoch, and Abida, and Eldaah. All these are the sons of Keturah. (1 Chronicles 1:33)).

2. Eldest son of Reuben, and founder of the Hanochites (Gen. 46:9⁹And the sons of Reuben; Hanoch, and Phallu, and Hezron, and Carmi. (Genesis 46:9); Ex. 6:14¹⁴These be the heads of their fathers' houses: The sons of Reuben the firstborn of Israel; Hanoch, and Pallu, Hezron, and Carmi: these be the families of Reuben. 3. Son of Jered (1 Chron. 1:3³Henoch, Methuselah, Lamech, (1 Chronicles 1:3)). The same as ENOCH in Genesis 5:19-24¹⁹And Jared lived after he begat Enoch eight hundred years, and begat sons and daughters: ²⁰And all the days of Jared were nine hundred sixty and two years: and he died. ²¹And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begat Methuselah: ²²And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters: ²³And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years: ²⁴And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him. (Genesis 5:19‑24).
