1. A chief of Manasseh on the east of the Jordan (1 Chron. 5:24²⁴And these were the heads of the house of their fathers, even Epher, and Ishi, and Eliel, and Azriel, and Jeremiah, and Hodaviah, and Jahdiel, mighty men of valor, famous men, and heads of the house of their fathers. (1 Chronicles 5:24)).

2. Son of Hasenuah, a Benjamite (1 Chron. 9:7⁷And of the sons of Benjamin; Sallu the son of Meshullam, the son of Hodaviah, the son of Hasenuah, (1 Chronicles 9:7)).

3. Ancestor of some Levites who returned from exile (Ezra 2:40⁴⁰The Levites: the children of Jeshua and Kadmiel, of the children of Hodaviah, seventy and four. (Ezra 2:40)). Called HODEVAH in Nehemiah 7:43⁴³The Levites: the children of Jeshua, of Kadmiel, and of the children of Hodevah, seventy and four. (Nehemiah 7:43).
