1. Son of Joktan, a descendant of Shem (Gen. 10:29²⁹And Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab: all these were the sons of Joktan. (Genesis 10:29); 1 Chron. 1:23²³And Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab. All these were the sons of Joktan. (1 Chronicles 1:23)).

2. Son of Zerah and king of Edom (Gen. 36:33-34³³And Bela died, and Jobab the son of Zerah of Bozrah reigned in his stead. ³⁴And Jobab died, and Husham of the land of Temani reigned in his stead.
