Levitical city in Ephraim (1 Chron. 6:68⁶⁸And Jokmeam with her suburbs, and Beth-horon with her suburbs, (1 Chronicles 6:68)). Probably the same as JOKNEAM in 1 Kings 4:12¹²Baana the son of Ahilud; to him pertained Taanach and Megiddo, and all Beth-shean, which is by Zartanah beneath Jezreel, from Beth-shean to Abel-meholah, even unto the place that is beyond Jokneam: (1 Kings 4:12), where the RV has JOKMEAM. The Hebrew is the same in both places. Not identified.
