1. Son of Merari (Num. 3:20²⁰And the sons of Merari by their families; Mahli, and Mushi. These are the families of the Levites according to the house of their fathers. (Numbers 3:20); 1 Chron. 6:19, 29¹⁹The sons of Merari; Mahli, and Mushi. And these are the families of the Levites according to their fathers. (1 Chronicles 6:19)
²⁹The sons of Merari; Mahli, Libni his son, Shimei his son, Uzza his son, (1 Chronicles 6:29); 1 Chron. 23:21²¹The sons of Merari; Mahli, and Mushi. The sons of Mahli; Eleazar, and Kish. (1 Chronicles 23:21); 1 Chron. 24:26,28²⁶The sons of Merari were Mahli and Mushi: the sons of Jaaziah; Beno. (1 Chronicles 24:26)
²⁸Of Mahli came Eleazar, who had no sons.
