Tenemos todo en Cristo
Extracto: No hay nada que el corazón pueda desear que no tengamos en Jesús. ¿Anhela una simpatía genuina? ¿Dónde puede encontrarla, sino en Aquel que podía mezclar Sus lágrimas con las de las adoloridas hermanas de Betania? ¿Desea disfrutar de un afecto sincero? Puede encontrarlo solamente en aquel corazón que demostró Su amor en gotas de sangre. ¿Busca la protección de un poder verdadero? No tiene sino que ver a Aquel que hizo los mundos. ¿Siente la necesidad de una sabiduría inequívoca para dirigir? Acuda a Aquel quien es la Sabiduría personificada, “el cual nos ha sido hecho por Dios sabiduría”. En una palabra, tenemos todo en Cristo.

La Biblia
Lo que la pobre culpable y caída humanidad anhela es ... un libro que hable de un remedio para los corazones podridos con pensamientos impíos; para el ladrón, el asesino, el réprobo, el proscrito; para este mundo contaminado, cansado, manchado por el pecado y que gime. Y un Libro así es la Biblia.
