Some of these were made of iron as mentioned in
Ezekiel 4:3

Moreover take thou unto thee an iron pan, and set it for a wall of iron between thee and the city: and set thy face against it, and it shall be besieged, and thou shalt lay siege against it. This shall be a sign to the house of Israel. (Ezekiel 4:3)
, and were used for baking cakes (
Lev. 2:5

And if thy oblation be a meat offering baken in a pan, it shall be of fine flour unleavened, mingled with oil. (Leviticus 2:5)

Both for the showbread, and for the fine flour for meat offering, and for the unleavened cakes, and for that which is baked in the pan, and for that which is fried, and for all manner of measure and size; (1 Chronicles 23:29)
). The iron plates that were laid on the small ovens, and on which bread and cakes were baked, are probably alluded to.
