The Hebrew day, from sunset to sunset, embraced the entire night

(Gen. 1:5⁵And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day. (Genesis 1:5)). Death (John 9:4⁴I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.
