One whose “children” were in David’s army (1 Chron. 27:3³Of the children of Perez was the chief of all the captains of the host for the first month. (1 Chronicles 27:3)). His descendants returned from exile (Neh. 11:4,6⁴And at Jerusalem dwelt certain of the children of Judah, and of the children of Benjamin. Of the children of Judah; Athaiah the son of Uzziah, the son of Zechariah, the son of Amariah, the son of Shephatiah, the son of Mahalaleel, of the children of Perez; (Nehemiah 11:4)
⁶All the sons of Perez that dwelt at Jerusalem were four hundred threescore and eight valiant men. (Nehemiah 11:6)). Perhaps the same as PHARES.
