1. Son of Benjamin (Gen. 46:21²¹And the sons of Benjamin were Belah, and Becher, and Ashbel, Gera, and Naaman, Ehi, and Rosh, Muppim, and Huppim, and Ard. (Genesis 46:21)).

2. The same Hebrew word occurs in Ezekiel 38:2²Son of man, set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him, (Ezekiel 38:2) and Ezekiel 39:1¹Therefore, thou son of man, prophesy against Gog, and say, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal: (Ezekiel 39:1), which, though frequently translated “chief,” is now treated in these passages as a proper name, reading “prince of Rosh,” as in the RV and other translations. It refers to Russia.
