Thy God whom thou servest continually, He will deliver thee.
Daniel served God faithfully all his life. We don’t know how old Daniel was when he was taken as a captive to Babylon, but he was probably quite young. It wasn’t that he did any great work for God or preached great sermons. But he was faithful to the Lord regardless of what went on around him. And he wasn’t afraid to stand for his convictions. God rewarded him and did indeed deliver him in his greatest time of need. Let us learn a lesson from Daniel. We can serve the Lord by being dedicated to Him in faithful obedience to His Word.
