Proverbs 6:16‑19

PRO 6:16-19¹⁶These six things doth the Lord hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: ¹⁷A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, ¹⁸An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, ¹⁹A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren. (Proverbs 6:16‑19)

These . . . doth the Lord hate . . . he that soweth discord among brethren.

c Gossip! c Malicious gossip!

c Back biting! c Talking evil of others!

These are all things that can “sow discord” or stir up trouble among your Christian circle of fellowship. If you have the tendency to start the gossip or if you have a bad habit of passing information on to others, ask the Lord to especially help you overcome. You are really speaking and working against the Lord.
