About This Product
These 9 lectures on Joseph, Moses, Jonathan and others don’t attempt to give full biographies. Instead they present essential lessons for young men based on the lives of these Bible characters. What young man hasn’t been tempted like Joseph was or asked to refuse spiritual Egypt as Moses was? Are there any that wouldn’t benefit from considering how Jonathan started well and then faded in wholeheartedness?
Mr. Wolston says it well, “Young man, prepare for the future. That is the lesson I get from Joseph. Have you provided for the future? I do not mean for the things of this life. … Joseph was wise. He said in effect to Pharaoh, ‘Make provision for the future.’”
The focus of Young Men of Scripture is clearly on the believer, but gospel exhortations and illustrations are worked in often. For example, you’ll probably benefit from the story of the young successful businessman whose last words were, “Brown dead? Why I have not time to die; I am far too busy.”
