Help

“My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth” (Psalm 121:2).

We all need help! We can’t live and get through life without it? How wonderful to have the help of the Lord, the all-powerful Creator and Preserver of the universe.

We have had it in the past and can truly say:

“Hitherto hath the Lord helped us” (1 Samuel 7:12).

We experience it in the present:

“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble” (Psalm 46:1).

“Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need” (Hebrews 4:16).

“So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper” (Hebrews 13:6).

It will be there for us in the future:

“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of My righteousness” (Isaiah 41:10).
