Redeemed

To be redeemed is to be bought back to be set free. Here are some Scriptures that set forth the characteristics and blessings of those who have been redeemed:

“In whom we have REDEMPTION through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace” (Ephesians 1:7).

“Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not REDEEMED with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a Lamb without blemish and without spot” (1 Peter 1:18-19).

“Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by His own blood He entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal REDEMPTION for us” (Hebrews 9:12).

“Being justified freely by His grace through the REDEMPTION that is in Christ Jesus” (Romans 3:24).

“Fear not: for I have REDEEMED thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art Mine” (Isaiah 43:1).
