“My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me: and I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of My hand” (John 10:27-28).
When the Lord Jesus saves us, He saves us for all eternity. If we are once truly saved, then we can never be lost again. Sadly, there are many true Christians today who live in fear that they may do something that will cause them to lose their salvation. Of course, if we sin, then we lose the joy of our salvation. Then we need to confess that sin and be restored to happy fellowship with the Lord. However, this is not the same as losing our salvation.
In our verses for today, the Lord Jesus says, “They shall never perish.” He holds onto us, and no one can take us out of His hand.
