Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.1
Be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee.2 – I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins.3
The Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins.4 – In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace.5 – Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior.6 – Having forgiven you all trespasses; blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross.7
Bless the Lord, O my soul, … who forgiveth all thine iniquities.8

Cain went out from the presence of the Lord.1 – Your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you.2 – Follow … holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord.3
I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.4 – Our Savior Jesus Christ … hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel.5
The way into the holiest of all was not yet made manifest, while as the first tabernacle was yet standing.6 – He is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us.7 – The veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom.8
Strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.9 – Thou wilt show me the path of life: in thy presence is fullness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures forevermore.10

The Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.1
I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret. … Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.2
Have we not all one father? hath not one God created us?3 – In him we live, and move, and have our being.4 – Like as a father pitieth his children, so the Lord pitieth them that fear him.5
He, being full of compassion, forgave their iniquity, and destroyed them not: yea, many a time turned he his anger away, and did not stir up all his wrath. For he remembered that they were but flesh; a wind that passeth away, and cometh not again.6

Put … on the Lord Jesus Christ.1 – That I may win Christ, and be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith.2 – The righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe.3
He hath covered me with the robe of righteousness.4 – I will go in the strength of the Lord God: I will make mention of thy righteousness, even of thine only.5
Ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light: … Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. … All things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light. … Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. See then that ye walk circumspectly.6

Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: … I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.1
Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.2
Grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.3 – We all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.4
These words spake Jesus, … I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. … I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one.5

Heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ.1 – All things are yours.2 – My beloved is mine.3 – The Son of God … loved me, and gave himself for me.4
The Lord spake unto Aaron, Thou shalt have no inheritance in their land, neither shalt thou have any part among them: I am thy part and thine inheritance among the children of Israel.5
Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee. My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion forever.6
Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.7 – I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.8
O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land.9

Will God in very deed dwell with men on the earth? behold, heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain thee.1 – The Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.2 – Great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh.3
God, … hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds.4
The first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled … came Jesus and stood in the midst. … Then were the disciples glad, when they saw the Lord. … After eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them. … Then saith [Jesus] to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing. And Thomas answered and said … My Lord and my God.5 – Unto us a Son is given: … The mighty God.6

He that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive anything of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.1
I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: which is not another; … though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.2
Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace. … Ye did run well; who did hinder you?3
As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. … If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.4 – For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.5

Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me.1 – Father, glorify thy name. Then came there a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again.2 – Lo, I come … to do thy will, O God.3 – Not my will, but thine, be done.4
As he is, so are we in this world.5 – This is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he heareth us.6
Whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.7
Without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.8
He ever liveth to make intercession for them.9 – We have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.10

It came to pass, when the sun did arise, that God prepared a vehement east wind; and the sun beat upon the head of Jonah, that he fainted, and wished in himself to die, and said, It is better for me to die than to live.1
Job spake, and said, … Wherefore is light given to him that is in misery, and life unto the bitter in soul; which long for death, but it cometh not; and dig for it more than for hid treasures?2 – Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.3
Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour.4 – In all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people. For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succor them that are tempted.5
