As ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.1 – I beseech you, … brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind.2
If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.3 – In Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature. And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy.4 – This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind.5 – Ye have not so learned Christ; if so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus: … put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.6

Jesus the author and finisher of our faith.1 – I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.2 – We are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins: but this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down on the right hand of God; from henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool. For by one offering he hath perfected forever them that are sanctified.3 – Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross.4
I lay down my life, that I might take it again. No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again.5 – Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.6

Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men! Thou shalt hide them in the secret of thy presence from the pride of man: thou shalt keep them secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues.1
If ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man’s work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear.2 – The Lord is nigh unto all them that call upon him … in truth. He will fulfill the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them.3
Because thine heart was tender, and thou hast humbled thyself before the Lord, … and hast rent thy clothes, and wept before me; I also have heard thee, saith the Lord.4 – To this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.5 – The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.6

Your lamb shall be without blemish, … and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it in the evening. And they shall take of the blood, and strike it on the two side posts and on the upper door post of the houses, wherein they shall eat it, … and when I see the blood, I will pass over you.1 – The blood of sprinkling.2 – Christ our passover is sacrificed for us.3 – Being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God.4 – According to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began.5
We have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins.6
Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin; that he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.7

By grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God.1 – Without faith it is impossible to please him.2 – He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.3 – Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief.4
Whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.5 – Faith … worketh by love.6 – Faith without works is dead.7
We walk by faith, not by sight.8 – I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.9 – Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.10

I have given him for a witness to the people, a leader and commander to the people.1 – It became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.2 – We must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.3
We wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God.4 – We do not war after the flesh: (for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds).5
The God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.6

Get wisdom, get understanding.1 – The wisdom that is from above.2 – The depth saith, It is not in me: and the sea saith, It is not with me.3 – We are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection.4
Let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us.5 – God … hath quickened us together with Christ, … and hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.6
They that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country.7 – Seek ye the Lord, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness.8

Make haste, my beloved, and be thou like to a roe or to a young hart upon the mountains of spices.1 – We ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.2 – Bow thy heavens, O Lord, and come down: touch the mountains, and they shall smoke.3
This same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.4 – Unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.5 – It shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the Lord; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.6
He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.7 – That blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ.8 – Our conversation is in heaven.9

A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.1 – Above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.2 – Love covereth all sins.3
When ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.4 – Love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again.5 – Rejoice not when thine enemy falleth, and let not thine heart be glad when he stumbleth.6 – Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing.7 – If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.8 – Be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.9
My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.10

The glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together.1 – No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.2 – And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.3 – He that hath seen me hath seen the Father.4 – The brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person.5 – God was manifest in the flesh.6
In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature.7 – Whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.8
As we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.9
