Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.1 – Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him?2 – Heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.3
The Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me.4 – God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.5
He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.6 – There is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.7 – He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.8

The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?1 – He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: but they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.2 – My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion forever.3
If God be for us, who can be against us?4 – The Lord is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?5 – Through thee will we push down our enemies: through thy name will we tread them under that rise up against us.6 – We are more than conquerors through him that loved us.7
Arise therefore, and be doing, and the Lord be with thee.8

After a long time the lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them. And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more. His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.1
We must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.2
I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.3
Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.4

Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey.1
All these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will. … The manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.2 – As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.3 – It is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.4 – Unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.5
Who is sufficient for these things?6 – I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.7

So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.1
Behold, I am with thee, and will keep thee in all places whither thou goest, and will bring thee again into this land; for I will not leave thee, until I have done that which I have spoken to thee of.2 – Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.3
Demas hath forsaken me, having loved this present world. … At my first answer no man stood with me, but all men forsook me: I pray God that it may not be laid to their charge. Notwithstanding the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me.4 – When my father and my mother forsake me, then the Lord will take me up.5 – Lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.6 – I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive forevermore.7 – I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.8 – My peace I give unto you.9

He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; and being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform. And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness. Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him; but for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead.1
The promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith.2
The just shall live by faith.3 – Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised).4 – Our God is in the heavens: he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased.5 – With God nothing shall be impossible. … And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.6

Thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.1 – Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground. … I am the God of thy father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. And Moses hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon God.2 – To whom then will ye liken me, or shall I be equal? saith the Holy One.3 – I am the Lord thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Savior: … I, even I, am the Lord; and beside me there is no savior.4
As he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.5 – Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?6 – Ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.7 – Can two walk together, except they be agreed?8

Just Lot … that righteous man.1
Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.2 – Remember Lot’s wife.3
Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? … Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing.4 – Be not ye … partakers with them. For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light: … proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.5

The end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.1 – Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.2 – Take heed to thyself, and keep thy soul diligently, lest thou forget the things which thine eyes have seen, and lest they depart from thy heart all the days of thy life.3 – The just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.4
What I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.5
Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. … I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand.6

This … is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.1 – God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God.2 – The Word was God. … In him was life; and the life was the light of men.3 – If we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.4
Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.5 – Ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.6
Ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light.7 – Ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light.8
