If two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.1 – He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.2
Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world? … If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.3
Unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, to the only wise God our Savior, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.4

Zion said, The Lord hath forsaken me, and my Lord hath forgotten me. Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee.1
I forgat prosperity. And I said, My strength and my hope is perished from the Lord.2 – Awake, why sleepest thou, O Lord? arise, cast us not off forever.3 – Why sayest thou, O Jacob, and speakest, O Israel, My way is hid from the Lord, and my judgment is passed over from my God?4 – In a little wrath I hid my face from thee for a moment; but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee, saith the Lord thy Redeemer.5
Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance.6 – We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed.7

A little that a righteous man hath is better than the riches of many wicked.1 – Better is little with the fear of the Lord than great treasure and trouble therewith.2 – Godliness with contentment is great gain. … Having food and raiment let us be therewith content.3
Give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with food convenient for me: lest I be full, and deny thee, and say, Who is the Lord? or lest I be poor, and steal, and take the name of my God in vain.4 – Give us this day our daily bread.5
Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?6 – When I sent you without purse, and scrip, and shoes, lacked ye anything? And they said, Nothing.7 – Let your conversation be without covetousness: and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.8

The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?1
Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.2 – He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the Lord. His heart is established, he shall not be afraid, until he see his desire upon his enemies.3
What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee.4 – In the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock. And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the Lord.5
The God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. To him be glory and dominion forever and ever.6

This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.1 – Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God.2
His Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things.3 – If children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.4
I and my Father are one. … The Father is in me, and I in him.5 – My Father, and your Father; and … my God, and your God.6 – I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one.7
The Church, which is his body, the fullness of him that filleth all in all.8
Having … these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.9

O how love I thy law! it is my meditation all the day.1 – Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart.2 – I sat down under his shadow with great delight, and his fruit was sweet to my taste.3 – I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food.4
I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart.5 – My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.6
The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes. … More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.7 – Be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass.8

Surely the wrath of man shall praise thee: the remainder of wrath shalt thou restrain.1 – The king’s heart is in the hand of the Lord, as the rivers of water: he turneth it withersoever he will.2 – When a man’s ways please the Lord, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.3
I wait for the Lord, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope. My soul waiteth for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning.4 – I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.5
The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms: and he shall thrust out the enemy from before thee; and shall say, Destroy them.6 – Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is.7
What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?8

Behold the blood of the covenant, which the Lord hath made with you.1 – The life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls.2 – It is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.3
[Jesus] said unto them, This is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many.4 – By his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.5 – Peace through the blood of his cross.6
Ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, … but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot, … manifest in these last times for you.7
Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: … from all your idols, will I cleanse you.8 – Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience.9

In the Lord have I righteousness and strength: even to him shall men come; and all that are incensed against him shall be ashamed. In the Lord shall all the seed of Israel be justified, and shall glory.1 – Be glad in the Lord, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.2
The righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe. … To declare … at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.3
Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.4 – Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory.5

Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest.1 – Whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.2 – Whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord.3
I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.4 – Wist ye not that I must be about my Father’s business?5 – The zeal of thine house hath eaten me up.6
Brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall.7 – We desire that every one of you do show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end: that ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.8 – So run, that ye may obtain.9
