The Lord said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do?1 – It is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven.2 – God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.3 – Even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory.4
Blessed is the man whom thou choosest, and causest to approach unto thee, that he may dwell in thy courts: we shall be satisfied with the goodness of thy house, even of thy holy temple.5 – The secret of the Lord is with them that fear him; and he will show them his covenant.6 – I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me.7
Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.8

Beware that thou forget not the Lord thy God.1 – One of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God, and fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan. And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine? There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger.2
Every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving: for it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.3 – He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks.4 – The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.5
Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul, … who forgiveth all thine iniquities; … who crowneth thee with loving-kindness and tender mercies.6

Ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.1 – Where sin abounded, grace did much more abound.2
That in the ages to come he might show the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast.3 – Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.4 – According to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior.5

In the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.1 – She took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.2
The wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.3 – If by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.4 – Since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.5 – Our Savior Jesus Christ, … hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel.6
God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.7 – For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.8

Truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned. But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly. … Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season; esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt.1 – The just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.2 – No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.3
God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.4 – Come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.5 – He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.6

I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.1 – I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.2 – Strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.3 – The joy of the Lord is your strength.4
Thus saith the Lord of hosts; Let your hands be strong, ye that hear in these days these words by the mouth of the prophets.5 – Strengthen ye the weak hands, and confirm the feeble knees. Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not.6 – The Lord looked upon him, and said, Go in this thy might.7
If God be for us, who can be against us?8 – Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not.9
Let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.10 – Thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.11

Why sleep ye? rise and pray, lest ye enter into temptation.1 – The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.2
Two things have I required of thee; deny me them not before I die: remove far from me vanity and lies: give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with food convenient for me: lest I be full, and deny thee, and say, Who is the Lord? or lest I be poor, and steal, and take the name of my God in vain.3
The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.4 – I will deliver thee out of the hand of the wicked, and I will redeem thee out of the hand of the terrible.5 – He that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.6
Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.7 – The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations.8

We walk by faith, not by sight.1 – We love him, because he first loved us.2 – And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.3 – In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise.4 – God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.5
If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?6
Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.7 – Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.8

Fight the good fight of faith.1 – The weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds; casting down imaginations, … and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.2
Brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.3
The flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.4 – I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.5 – We are more than conquerors through him that loved us.6

If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.1 – Whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.2 – Let us therefore cast off the works of darkness.3
Every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible. I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air: but I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.4 – Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.5 – Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the Lord.6
