In Nehemiah 3:19¹⁹And next to him repaired Ezer the son of Jeshua, the ruler of Mizpah, another piece over against the going up to the armory at the turning of the wall. (Nehemiah 3:19) the word is nesheq, also translated “armor.” In {s 12176}Song of Solomon 4:4⁴Thy neck is like the tower of David builded for an armory, whereon there hang a thousand bucklers, all shields of mighty men. (Song of Solomon 4:4) it is talpiyyoth, “armory” or heap of swords. In Jeremiah 50:25²⁵The Lord hath opened his armory, and hath brought forth the weapons of his indignation: for this is the work of the Lord God of hosts in the land of the Chaldeans. (Jeremiah 50:25) it is otsar, signifying “treasury.”
