1. Judge of Israel, between Gideon and Jephthah, mentioned in 1 Samuel 12:11¹¹And the Lord sent Jerubbaal, and Bedan, and Jephthah, and Samuel, and delivered you out of the hand of your enemies on every side, and ye dwelled safe. (1 Samuel 12:11); but not found in the book of Judges. The LXX, Syriac and Arabic give the name as Barak.

2. Son of Ulam, descendant of Manasseh (1 Chron. 7:17¹⁷And the sons of Ulam; Bedan. These were the sons of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh. (1 Chronicles 7:17)).
