(according to judgment). (1) A judge of Israel (1 Sam. 12:11¹¹And the Lord sent Jerubbaal, and Bedan, and Jephthah, and Samuel, and delivered you out of the hand of your enemies on every side, and ye dwelled safe. (1 Samuel 12:11)). (2) A son of Gilead (1 Chron. 7:17¹⁷And the sons of Ulam; Bedan. These were the sons of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh. (1 Chronicles 7:17)).
