Boyd’s Bible Dictionary:

(upright). Book of, wholly lost (Josh. 10:1313And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day. (Joshua 10:13); 2 Sam. 1:1818(Also he bade them teach the children of Judah the use of the bow: behold, it is written in the book of Jasher.) (2 Samuel 1:18)).

Concise Bible Dictionary:

A book only referred to in Joshua 10:1313And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day. (Joshua 10:13) and 2 Samuel 1:1818(Also he bade them teach the children of Judah the use of the bow: behold, it is written in the book of Jasher.) (2 Samuel 1:18), and of which nothing further is known. The quotations are poetical. There are several writings extant bearing the above title, but neither of them have any connection with the one alluded to in scripture.
