I acknowledged my sin unto Thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid.
David practiced keeping short accounts with God. He never tried to hide any wrongdoing but confessed it to the Lord as soon as he realized that he had sinned. This is the way we keep communion with the Lord too. A sin will break that fellowship because God cannot look upon sin. But when “we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” Practice this - it makes for a happier Christian life.
