Here’s another example of how a great servant of God can become discouraged when he doesn’t see the complete picture. Elijah was SO discouraged because he thought that he was the only servant of God left. He was afraid for his life. He thought that the rulers of the land were out to get him. But God had plenty of faithful followers who had not given in to idolatry. Young person, never get to the point where you think that you are the only one left. God has plenty of helpers. You may not ever know where they are, but they’re out there somewhere, doing what God wants them to. Don’t look at things from your corner - get the big picture - from God’s viewpoint.
