(doubly fruitful). (1) Second son of Joseph (Gen. 41:5252And the name of the second called he Ephraim: For God hath caused me to be fruitful in the land of my affliction. (Genesis 41:52)). Obtained Jacob’s blessing (Gen. 48:8-208And Israel beheld Joseph's sons, and said, Who are these? 9And Joseph said unto his father, They are my sons, whom God hath given me in this place.
