1. City in the mountains of Judah, given to the Priests (Josh. 15:50⁵⁰And Anab, and Eshtemoh, and Anim, (Joshua 15:50); Josh. 21:14¹⁴And Jattir with her suburbs, and Eshtemoa with her suburbs, (Joshua 21:14); 1 Sam. 30:28²⁸And to them which were in Aroer, and to them which were in Siphmoth, and to them which were in Eshtemoa, (1 Samuel 30:28); 1 Chron. 6:57⁵⁷And to the sons of Aaron they gave the cities of Judah, namely, Hebron, the city of refuge, and Libnah with her suburbs, and Jattir, and Eshtemoa, with their suburbs, (1 Chronicles 6:57)).
