• If collected thus on any other day in self-will, it became worthless and corrupt; but when done in obedience in view of the sabbath it remained sound and good. Gather as much manna as we may, two omers instead of one; if it is kept for the rest that remained, it will be a source of strength and joy throughout eternity.
