Ministry on This Verse

The boards were placed upon their sockets, side by side, in alignment; then it was an easy matter to pass the bars through all the rings and form a complete wall for the house of God. According to God’s mind and purpose, believers are “builded together,” and set in the body, so that their union with Christ is also union with one another. (The Sockets and the Boards by S. Ridout)
We can see the Spirit’s work in thus uniting believers to Christ and to each other, suggested by the rings and bars, in the unity and fellowship of believers at Pentecost. (The Sockets and the Boards by S. Ridout)
