One of the halting places of the Israelites, called “the graves of lust,” “because there they buried the people that lusted” for flesh (Num. 11:34-35³⁴And he called the name of that place Kibroth-hattaavah: because there they buried the people that lusted. ³⁵And the people journeyed from Kibroth-hattaavah unto Hazeroth; and abode at Hazeroth. (Numbers 11:34‑35); Num. 33:16-17¹⁶And they removed from the desert of Sinai, and pitched at Kibroth-hattaavah. ¹⁷And they departed from Kibroth-hattaavah, and encamped at Hazeroth. (Numbers 33:16‑17); Deut. 9:22²²And at Taberah, and at Massah, and at Kibroth-hattaavah, ye provoked the Lord to wrath. (Deuteronomy 9:22)).
