“Pool” From Boyd’s Bible Dictionary:

(hole). Artificial reservoir for water. Very necessary in the East and sometimes built very elaborately and expensively (Eccl. 2:6⁶I made me pools of water, to water therewith the wood that bringeth forth trees: (Ecclesiastes 2:6); Isa. 42:15¹⁵I will make waste mountains and hills, and dry up all their herbs; and I will make the rivers islands, and I will dry up the pools. (Isaiah 42:15)).
