 The “wicked” (apostate Israelites) who were purged out from among the returning tribes of Israel and left at the borders of the land (Ps. 139:19-20) are found associated with the Assyrian as he comes up. Apparently they will be swept up into the advancing armies as they move towards the land (vs. 1-5). (Book 5. by B. Anstey)
