Rhodes

Concise Bible Dictionary:

An island lying near the S.W. corner of Asia Minor (Acts 21:11And it came to pass, that after we were gotten from them, and had launched, we came with a straight course unto Coos, and the day following unto Rhodes, and from thence unto Patara: (Acts 21:1)). It was at one time a place of great renown, but from wars and earthquakes is now reduced to desolation. It still bears the same name.
