A small island in the north-east of the AEgean Sea, off which Paul’s ship anchored for a night on his first visit to Europe (Acts 16:1111Therefore loosing from Troas, we came with a straight course to Samothracia, and the next day to Neapolis; (Acts 16:11)). It is now called Samothraki.
