83. See! See, the Blessèd Savior Comes

C.M.
1
See! see, the blessèd Savior comes,

The God of love and grace;

With Him we spend eternity

In triumph and in praise.
“Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.” (2 Corinthians 13:11)
“Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.” (Ephesians 1:2)
“Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.” (1 Thessalonians 4:17)
2
Forever our still wondering eyes

Shall o’er His beauties rove;

To endless ages we’ll adore

The riches of His love!
“Thine eyes shall see the king in his beauty: they shall behold the land that is very far off.” (Isaiah 33:17)
“Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.” (John 17:24)
“And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.” (Ephesians 3:19)
