Self-Praise

Let another man praise thee, and not thine own mouth.
Self-praise is expected in many places today. The self-evaluation forms you fill out for your yearly review at work are for self-praise. It’s here that you brag about all your accomplishments for the past year and how much greater you expect to do in the next year. Let’s remember, young friend, that self-praise counts for nothing in God’s eyes. The praise from the lips of our Lord acknowledging what we have done for Him is the only praise that counts.
