Giving all diligence, add . . . to self-control perseverance.
When times get tough, many just plain give up. It’s too hard to stand for the truth, so they begin to let it slip - until it’s gone. The Scriptures would encourage us to persevere. The going got really tough for the Apostle Paul, but he never gave up. He persevered. He preached the gospel wherever he went, regardless of the circumstances. Are we that willing to continue in the path that the Lord has marked out for us?
