There is so much going on today, and we are trying to keep up with it all. Such racing around can spoil the joy of everything in life. But life is not all motion and commotion. Learn to sit still and enjoy where you are and what you are. The world may say, “Be there or be square.” Don’t believe it. You can influence people and events more by being in prayer than by “being in there.” So while you are being square, be in prayer. Birds that leave the nest too soon usually die.
