Things on earth are not what they ought to be, and all will own it. Broadly speaking only two remedies have ever been proposed. One is God's and one is not. One is by heavenly means agreeable to God's will and the other by earthly means agreeable to man's will.
As Christians, we are not expected to put the world right; but we are expected to keep ourselves "unspotted" from it. How can we have fellowship with the world that more and more rejects Christ, and "love his appearing" at the same time?
