Worship Worship is the highest note of adoration that we can give to the Lord. It springs from a heart overflowing with an appreciation of who He is. As we see in Scripture: • “Give unto the Lord the glory due unto His name; worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness” (Psalm 29:2). • “So shall the King greatly desire thy beauty: for He is thy Lord; and worship thou Him” (Psalm 45:11). • “O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker” (Psalm 95:6). • “O worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness” (Psalm 96:9). • “The true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship Him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth” (John 4:23-24). • “For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 3:3). • “Worship God” (Revelation 22:9). Will your heart be full of worship today? If you are occupied with the person of Christ it will be.
