His Strong Hand — Part 2 More verses concerning the strong hand of the Lord: In mercy “With a strong hand, and with a stretched out arm: for His mercy endureth for ever” (Psalm 136:12). His voice “For the Lord spake thus to me with a strong hand, and instructed me” (Isaiah 8:11). Job complaining as to the Lord’s dealing with Him “Thou art become cruel to me: with Thy strong hand Thou opposest Thyself against me” (Job 30:21). A future day of glory and reward “Behold, the Lord God will come with strong hand, and His arm shall rule for Him: behold, His reward is with Him, and His work before Him” (Isaiah 40:10). How wonderful to know that we are sheltered and carried by the strong hand of the Lord, and that He will never let us go until we are safe home with Him in the Father’s house.
