Thank you so much for your thoughtful and considerate service today. Our God thoughtfully considers us in this essential way: “God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.” What an ugly picture! But God also says, “I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil.” He expresses Himself with words—“I have loved thee with an everlasting love” —and actions—“When we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.” But if we reject His thoughtful love, we have no escape from His judgment of our sin. If you have not already done so, receive Him as Saviour today. “Now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.”
